#TeamHerts Volunteer Coordinator Network Forum

CVS for Broxbourne and East Herts, in partnership with North Herts CVS, is running Volunteer Coordinator Network Forums as part of the #TeamHerts Volunteering initiative. This is an exciting new project aiming to get the people of Hertfordshire volunteering and also supporting organisations with best practise in volunteer management.

 

This Volunteer Coordinator Network Forum is ideal for volunteer managers, recruiters or supervisors to come and learn about best practise in volunteer management, network and share experiences of managing volunteers. You will particularly find this session useful if you are new to your role or are looking to introduce a volunteer program within your organisation. For those who already have a program in place, it is the ideal time to refresh and share experiences with others in the same position as you.

 

The theme for this session is “Managing Challenging Volunteer Situations
• Identify what constitutes a difficult volunteer situation
• Explore the impact that a volunteer situation can have on the organisation
• Discuss various solutions to dealing with difficult volunteer situations
• How to deal with exits

 

There will also be an opportunity at the end for you to bring your issues or questions to the group.

Each forum will be themed around a different aspect of volunteer management and there will be an opportunity for you to bring any questions or issues you may have to the table at the end.
